The 1998 NDGA convention is in the history books...and what an event it
was! Glassware as far as the eye could see: dozens of collectors'
displays from Fire-King to Tiffin and 40 dealers' booths full of rare and
beautiful Fostoria, Cambridge, Heisey and hundreds of patterns of
Depression era glassware.
Record-setting attendance, memberships and sales all contributed to the exitement...and even the 100+ degree Texas heat didn't bother too many people. Kent Washburn orchestrated a memorable event with help from an "army" of volunteers, and everyone had a great time!
