Join us in a sacred rememberance and celebration of
the roots of our human spirit in the natural world.
Celebrants and performers are drawn from diverse cultures
and traditions, each reflecting our spiritual connection
to the web of life on Earth.

Keynote speaker Chief Arvol Looking Horse, respected nineteenth generation White Buffalo Calf Pipe Keeper for the Lakota, Nakota, and Dakota nation, has received the prestigious Wolf Award in Canada in recognition of his work toward world peace.

His efforts toward international goodwill include traveling to Iraq to pray for peace, journeying to South Africa to meet with Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela, and meeting with the Dalai Lama to establish a link of friendship between the people of Tibet and the Lakota Nation. Chief Looking Horse will address the need for sacred remembrance of the roots of our human spirit in the natural world.

Roots of the Spirit is a celebration of Native American, Tibetan Buddhist, Hispanic, Hawaiin and religious and ecological communities dedicated to peace and goodwill among all peoples.
