~ ~ ~ A LITTLE LIGHT READING ~ ~ ~

Amy Howard Los

From the time she was a young girl, my mother enjoyed writing and, in later years, some of her poems and short stories were rewritten and polished many times in creative writing classes. Imagery was her strong point; with words she could make you see the sunset and feel the rose petals and hear the crashing surf. She drew inspiration from nature, especially the sea, and from the people she knew. Inanimate objects took on life and personality beneath the tip of her pen.

As time permits, I shall edit and publish some of Mom's work here for everyone to enjoy.
